Summer Camps
Wickham and Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Summer Camp Dates/Times
June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026
Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
There will be no summer camp on Friday, July 3, 2026.
Cost
Wickham Summer Camp: $160/week per child
Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Summer Camp: $85/week per child City of Melbourne Residents and $102/week per child Non-Residents
All Camps offer a 2nd child 20% off discount.
Summer Camp Refund requests must be received in the Recreation office at least seven days before the starting date of the class or program. There will be a $5 per class/program administrative charge on all refunds.

Youth camp is for children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old (age as of September 1, 2026).

Summer Camp Registration will start online on April 5, 2026, at 5 p.m.
In-person registration will begin April 6, 2026, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. for Wickham Park Camp and 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Camp.
Registration will continue Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., for Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Camp and during normal operating hours at Wickham Park Community Center until all spaces are filled.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance Applications for the City of Melbourne’s Summer Camp(PDF, 260KB) can be submitted starting Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
The Financial Assistance Program is for City of Melbourne Residents only. Please include a copy or picture of your photo ID, and a second proof of address with your application.
You may drop off your completed Financial Assistance Application to the Wickham Park Community Center, Eddie Lee Taylor, Sr. Community Center, or Eau Gallie Civic Center, Monday – Friday between 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., or email a scanned copy with your photo ID and second proof of address to play.melbourne@mlbfl.org.

Camp dates and policies are subject to change.
Junior Counselors
The City of Melbourne, Parks and Recreation department offers teens ages 13-15 years old the opportunity to volunteer as Junior Counselors in our Wickham Park Summer Camp Program. The teen volunteers involved in this program will pay $100 of the Summer Camp weekly registration fee, can pick the weeks they are able to volunteer at camp, and will also learn great life skills through mentoring, career shadowing, and participation in recreation programming.

Tennis Summer Camp
Kids will have fun and proper instruction from certified tennis instructors. Youth will participate in drills, skills, and fun games throughout the day and supervised match play.
Mondays – Thursdays: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Fridays are rainout days.
June 1 – July 31, 2026
Cost: $100 per week or $35 per day
Ages: 6 –15 years old
Space is limited. Advanced registration is encouraged.
