Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun sport for all ages and all levels of athletic ability. It is played by two or four players on a badminton-size court, with a slightly modified tennis net, using perforated plastic ball and wood or composite paddles. Pickleball is easy for beginners to learn and play, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Refund/Transfer Policy

The participant must initiate all requests for refund/transfer of fees. Parks and Recreation will provide a “Request for Refund” form to individuals when they request a refund or transfer. Refunds take approximately three to four weeks to process. The form must be completed, signed, dated and returned to the Recreation Office at the Community Center where the class was located in accordance with the refund schedules:

• Class/Athletic Fees/Summer Camp/Swim Lessons: Refund requests must be received in the Recreation office at least seven days before the starting date of the class or program. There will be a $10 per class/program administrative charge on all refunds.
• Memberships/Passes/Daily Fees/Activities, and Special Events/Shows: No refunds.

City of Melbourne Round Robin with Playoffs

• Saturday, September 5 (Not submitted to DUPR)
• 8 a.m. – Men's and Women's Doubles Teams
• 10 a.m. –  Mixed Doubles Teams
• Levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 (Levels based on highest rating of 1. DUPR 2. FTPL)
  • Players may self-rate, if not currently rated
  • Teams must register based on the partner with the highest skill level
• $20 Per Team (non-refundable within 7 days)
