New Utility Billing Payment Processor Now in Service
Our new payment processor for utility billing is now in service.
What to know:
- You will need to create a new online account to access your account.
- Go to our new portal.
- Users will need to provide a valid e-mail address and to create a secure password. The online portal will e-mail a confirmation to complete the registration.
- The portal will ask registered users to add a utility account with an existing account number, customer number and last bill number. This information is located in the printed billing statement that is mailed to customers each month. If you cannot find the printed statement, contact Utility Billing for assistance at (321) 608-7100. Multiple utility accounts can be added to a single registered user.
- Once the account information is accepted, users will access the portal dashboard, which provides credit, bank card and electronic fund transfer payment options, billing statements, water usage reports and more.
- Your account number will not change, and all of your account information will be available with the new system.
- How to Find Your Account Information
- The account number, customer number and bill number are on the printed utility billing statements mailed to utility customer addresses. The account number is the first set of digits of the number inside the "Account Number-Customer Number" box - for example 123456-######. The customer number is the last six digits of that same number in that same "Account Number-Customer Number" box - for example, ######-123456.
- The bill number is identified on the utility bill. If you cannot find your last bill number (the most recent mailed to your address), please contact Utility Billing at (321) 608-7100.
- You can access the new system using the same blue button above labeled “Utility Access Online Payments.”
- E-billing customers will be receiving an email notification asking them to sign up to receive e-bills with the new service.
- Customers who are currently enrolled in the City of Melbourne’s automatic payment service need to re-enroll in automatic payments with our new service. Please call 321-608-7100 or email customerservice@mlbfl.org to begin this process.
- If you have the current payment portal bookmarked, please update your bookmark with https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/melbournefl to make a payment after May 30. The old portal will no longer be functioning after May 31.
