The City of Melbourne Public Works and Utilities Department will be closing the inside southbound lane of U.S. Highway 1/S.R. 5 between Silver Palm Avenue and E. Fee Avenue, in Melbourne, in order to clean sewer mains. The work is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, July 28, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Maintenance of traffic will be provided to detour traffic around the work area per FDOT Index #102-613.
