Volunteers Wanted for Trash Bash, April 11

We are actively seeking Trash Bash volunteers. With eight clean-up sites around the city this year, there is sure to be one near you:

  • Downtown Melbourne – 2009 Vernon Place (City of Melbourne parking lot)
  • Ascension Catholic School – 2950 N Harbor City Boulevard
  • Carver Community Park – 1092 Swan Street
  • Riverview Park – 2400 Riverview Drive
  • Joseph N. Davis Community Center – 2547 Bruce D. Buggs Street (formerly Grant Street)
  • Palm Bay High School – 101 Pirate Lane, Gate #4
  • Paradise Beach at Howard E. Futch Memorial Park – 2301 Florida A1A
  • Southwest Park – 400 W Florida Avenue

Participants will have the opportunity to earn volunteer hours and help with the mission to keep plastic and litter out of our vulnerable waterways. 

Breakfast items, snacks and t-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Drinking water will be provided, but participants must bring their own re-usable water bottles. 

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are highly recommended.

  • If you, your family, church group, or organization would like to participate, please email adoptaroad@mlbfl.org or call Cheryl Caldwell at 321-608-5082 to preregister with the number of volunteers and site location of choice.
