National First Responders Day (October 28) is a day to honor and celebrate the courage, dedication and sacrifice of the men and women who rush toward danger to protect and save lives.

Firefighters, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, police officers, communications officers/911 dispatchers, and other public safety professionals are the first to respond to emergencies.

They dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities in times of crisis. Their unwavering commitment makes our communities stronger and safer.
