Joseph N. Davis Community Center West Wing to Reopen Sept. 12

The Joseph N. Davis Community Center's west wing will be reopening on Saturday, September 12. 

This space includes a game room equipped with pool tables, computers, TVs, gaming systems and lounge furniture for community kids to enjoy.  

Work to renovate the west wing of the community center began after the roof partially collapsed during a severe thunderstorm in July 2025. Though the community center’s gym reopened in August 2025, the west wing required more extensive renovations. It has now been restored and features a more inviting layout. 

To celebrate the completion of the new game room, we will be holding a grand reopening event on Saturday, September 12, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This event is free to attend, and refreshments will be provided.
