On Saturday, March 21, the City of Melbourne's Environmental Community Outreach (ECO) Division, in partnership with UF/IFAS Brevard Extension, the City of West Melbourne, Brevard County Solid Waste, and the Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program, proudly hosted the 2026 Florida-Friendly Landscaping Seminar.

The event welcomed approximately 250 participants and featured four engaging speakers along with 19 vendors. It was a fun, educational, and exciting day for all involved.

A special thank you to WM for sponsoring the event again this year and to Eaton Worms for helping compost the food waste.

We appreciate everyone who attended and supported sustainable landscaping in our community!
