Coastal Resiliency Plan

Since the completion of Melbourne’s vulnerability assessment/resiliency plan in 2021, new standards have been established by the Florida Legislature. The City's vulnerability assessment/resiliency plan is being updated to assess vulnerabilities based on intermediate-low and intermediate-high sea level rise projections/models for the planning horizon years of 2040 and 2070. The Community Development Department has received a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to update these components within the Coastal Resiliency Plan.
