Highland Avenue, between St. Clair Street and Eau Gallie Boulevard, and the outside, westbound lane of Eau Gallie Boulevard from Highland Avenue east to the relief bridge on the east side of the causeway will be closed will be closed from  6 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Melbourne Independence Day Parade

Portions of Hickory Street, Fee Avenue, New Haven Avenue, Strawbridge Avenue, U.S. 1 and other nearby roadways will be closed from 8 a.m. until noon.  

MelBOOM Fireworks Celebration

The following roads will close at 8 p.m. and will remain closed until approximately 10 p.m., depending on the time it takes for pedestrians to safely exit the park:

  • Strawbridge Avenue (U.S. 192) from U.S. 1 to Riverside Drive (Indialantic)
  • New Haven Avenue from the east side of the Mansion’s driveway toStrawbridge Avenue
  • Riverview Drive at Palmetto Avenue
  • Front Street at Melbourne Avenue
