The City of Melbourne Public Works and Utilities Department will be closing E. New Haven Avenue between Vernon Place and Waverly Place, in Melbourne, in order to remove a tree for safety reasons. The work is scheduled to occur on Monday, August 25, beginning at 6:30 a.m. and extending until 11:30 a.m. A detour will be provided to route traffic around the work area.
