A preliminary investigation revealed both the vehicle, Ford F150, and the bicycle were traveling north on Babcock St. approaching Florida Av.  The bicycle began changing lanes from the outside lane and into the inside lane, which was occupied by the F150.  The driver of the F150 attempted to move left to avoid the bicycle, but was unable to move far enough away.  The bicycle struck the passenger side of the F150 and the rider fell off his bicycle into the road.

The witnesses on scene corroborated the statement provided above.

The identity of the driver is not being released at this time.
