Melbourne Auditorium

A flexible multi-use facility with over 20,000 square feet of usable space, which includes main hall, two wing halls, a stage, and a large lobby area with a box office. The Melbourne Auditorium offers ample parking and large grounds for events both indoors and outdoors. The Auditorium is available seven days a week for a wide-range of events, expos, trade shows and more.

Rental Information

The Melbourne Auditorium is open for all rentals.

Rental contracts and payment requirements must be completed:

  • Private Event: 14 days prior
  • Public Event: 30 days prior

Main Hall (Minimum Rental) (8,960 sq. ft.)

  • Includes Stage (2,340 sq. ft.) and Lobby (1,380 sq. ft.)
  • Monday – Sunday (7 hour minimum). Civic: $120 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Commercial: $144 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Refundable damage deposit: $500.

Main Hall + One Wing (8,960 sq. ft.) + East Wing (3584 sq. ft.) or West Wing (4,368 sq. ft.)

  • Includes Stage (2,340 sq. ft.) and Lobby (1,380 sq. ft.) plus East Wing (3,584 sq. ft.) or West Wing (4,368 sq. ft.)
  • Monday – Sunday (7 hour minimum): Civic: $125 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Commercial: $150 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Refundable damage deposit: $500.

Whole Building (20,632 sq. ft.)

  • Monday – Sunday (7 hour minimum): Civic: $130 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Commercial: $156 per hour + tidy fee + plus tax. Refundable damage deposit: $500.

West Wing (4,368 sq. ft.)

  • Friday – Sunday (7 hour minimum) (available within 30 days of rental): $39 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Refundable damage deposit: $500.
  • Monday – Thursday (7 hour minimum) (available within 60 days of rental): $39 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Refundable damage deposit: $500

East Wing (3,584 sq. ft.)

  • Friday– Sunday (7 hour minimum) (available within 30 days of rental date): $39 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Refundable damage deposit: $500.
  • Monday – Thursday (7 hour minimum) (available within 60 days of rental date): $39 per hour + $125 tidy fee + tax. Refundable damage deposit: $500.

Refundable Damage Deposit

A refundable damage deposit is required for all rentals in advance of the reservation date. Refundable damage deposits may be picked up by renter after 9 a.m. on the first working day following the event.

Please note that all reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis and require an additional refundable damage deposit. Main Hall and Wings are available for rent and are officially reserved after all forms have been signed and approved by the Parks and Recreation Department. Please contact us at the Melbourne Auditorium to schedule an appointment to book your reservation.
