Joseph N. Davis Community Center is a multi-use facility with a reception room, full kitchen and gymnasium. This is a recreational facility hosting classes, athletics, and special events. The facility is also available for rentals.

Annual Pass Fees (Pass grants access to one location for one year from the date of purchase.):

Annual Super Pass Fees (The Super Pass grants access to the Eau Gallie Civic Center, Wickham Park Community Center, and Joseph N. Davis Community Center for one year from the date of purchase.):

  • 18 years and older: $50 resident/$60 non-resident

Ages: 8 years and older (Children 8 years and under must be accompanied by a person 16 years or older.)

Youth Athletics

Kids Late Night Basketball

Fridays: 8 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Join us for Late Night Basketball where players have fun and engaging environment. This program offers a unique opportunity for participants to practice their basketball skills, socialize with peers, and enjoy the game. Late Night Basketball provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone to have a great time, engage in friendly competition, and have memorable experiences on the court.

Adult Athletics

Adult Organized Full Court Basketball

Mondays and Tuesdays: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Looking to workout during lunch time? Join us for our open gym adult organized full court basketball with competitive play.

Adult Coed Open Gym Volleyball

Thursdays: 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Coed Open Gym Volleyball welcomes individuals aged 18 and older to come together for friendly and competitive volleyball games in a mixed-gender setting. This open gym session provides participants with the opportunity to practice their volleyball skills, engage in casual games, and meet new people who share a passion for the sport.

Open Gym Pickleball 

Mondays: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Open Gym Pickleball offers a fantastic opportunity for pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels to come together and enjoy this exciting and fast-paced sport. Pickleball, a blend of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, is easy to learn and provides a fun and social way to stay active. Join us for a memorable and enjoyable pickleball experience at our open gym sessions.

Beginners Pickleball

Fridays: 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

In a beginners' "no instruction" pickleball session, expect a casual, self-guided playing environment where you learn by doing. You'll play short, rotating doubles games with different partners and opponents. The focus is on participation and fun, not intense competition or formal coaching.

Seniors at Lunch

Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Beginning September 8)

Seniors At Lunch with Aging Matters in Brevard is held at nutrition centers within the North, Central and South areas of Brevard County every weekday and provides hot meals and activities to Brevard’s Senior 60 years and older population. Participants will enjoy food, friendship and activities. Call for reservations at least one day in advance (321) 608-7460. 

Seniors At Lunch is also open to those younger than 60 if they live at a participating neighborhood meal site and there are seats open.

Bone Builders

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. (Beginning September 9)

Bone Builders is a FREE strength training and health education program offered through Aging Matters in Brevard’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Participants lift weights to improve their bone and muscle strength while also working to better their balance. Certified instructors will also discuss important topics related to bone health and nutrition. Space is limited, and registration is required in advance. Contact the RSVP office at (321) 631-2749 to sign up today.

Rental contracts and payment requirements must be completed:

  • Private Event: 14 days prior
  • Public Event: 30 days prior

Multi-Purpose Room (2,000 sq. ft.) and Kitchen

  • Friday – Sunday, Full Day (9 a.m. - 12 a.m.): Resident $303, Non-Resident $364, Refundable Damage Deposit $100
  • Monday – Sunday, Three-Hour Block: Resident $106, Non-Resident $127, Refundable Damage Deposit $100

Gymnasium (10,000 sq. ft.)

  • Monday – Sunday, Full Day (9 a.m. - 12 a.m.): Resident $377, Non-Resident $452, Refundable Damage Deposit $300
  • Monday – Sunday, Three-Hour Block: Resident $139, Non-Resident $167, Refundable Damage Deposit $300

Refundable Damage Deposit

A refundable damage deposit is required for all rentals in advance of the reservation date. Refundable damage deposits may be picked up by the renter after 9 a.m. on the first working day following the event.

Please note that all reservations are on a first come first served basis and require an additional refundable damage deposit. Designated multipurpose rooms are available for rent and are officially reserved after all forms have been signed and approved by the Parks and Recreation Department. Please contact us at the Joseph N. Davis Community Center to schedule an appointment to book a reservation.

Refund/Transfer Policy

The participant must initiate all requests for refund/transfer of fees. Parks and Recreation will provide a “Request for Refund” form to individuals when they request a refund or transfer. Refunds take approximately three to four weeks to process. The form must be completed, signed, dated and returned to the Recreation Office at the Community Center where the class was located in accordance with the refund schedules:

  • Class/Athletic Fees/Summer Camp/Swim Lessons: Refund requests must be received in the Recreation office at least seven days before the starting date of the class or program. There will be a $5 per class/program administrative charge on all refunds.
  • Memberships/Passes/Daily Fees/Activities, and Special Events/Shows: No refunds.
