Post Date:12/14/2018 4:51 PM
On December 20, 321 Millennials in collaboration with Play Melbourne Parks & Recreation will be unveiling an interactive art installation of the popular backyard game, Cornhole at Eau Gallie Square Park.

Mayor Kathy Meehan and Vice Mayor Debbie Thomas will join representatives from the 321 Millennials Board in a ceremonial “first throw” at 5:30 p.m. to officially open the new Cornhole boards to the public.

321 Millennials did all of the fundraising, construction and installation of the new Cornhole boards. They worked with Play Melbourne Parks & Recreation on the location and siting of the boards.

“We are extremely pleased to work with the City of Melbourne Parks and Recreation to bring this installation to a public park for all in the community to enjoy,” said Gary Neal, 321 Millennials Community Adviser.

“We at 321 Millennials are excited to present our inaugural community project.  With this interactive art piece by East Coast Metalworks, we hope to achieve our goal of growth, influence and prosperity for our community.  As millennials, we feel that the interactive component of this art piece embodies the direction of future public art and are thrilled for people to enjoy its unique aesthetic and use.” Neal said.
