City Seeking Citizens to Serve on Housing Authority Board

The City of Melbourne is currently recruiting interested citizens to serve on the Melbourne Housing Authority board. The Melbourne Housing Authority is responsible for the acquisition, lease, construction, reconstruction, improvements and operations of federally funded housing projects within the City. Applicants must be registered to vote and live within the City of Melbourne. The board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:15 a.m. in the South Area Housing Administrative Office at 1401 Guava Avenue. 

Volunteer board members provide vital input to the Melbourne City Council on important local issues and have the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to their community.
