Special events that utilize Melbourne public streets require permits issued by the City Clerk's Office.

Provided on this page are links to materials that reflect the nature and scope of permits that have been issued for upcoming events.

Maps are provided to indicate the areas to be affected by the event activities. Complete permit records are maintained by the City Clerk's Office.

Space Coast Pride Festival and Parade

  • Date: 09/28/2019 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM  

Date:  September 28, 2019

Hours:  The festival will occur from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and roads will be closed from 12:01 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.  The parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. and conclude by 3:00 p.m. and roads will be closed for this portion of the event from noon until 3:30 p.m.

Location:  The festival site includes Highland Avenue, between Eau Gallie Boulevard and Creel Street; Bud Yeager Drive; St. Clair Street, between Highland Avenue and alleyway.  The Parade will stage at McClendon Street and Highland Avenue, travel south on Highland Avenue, west on Creel Street, south on Guava Avenue and disbanding at the intersection of Guava Avenue and St. Clair Street.
