2014 Trash Bash Locations for the City of Melbourne
The City of Melbourne is once again participating in Keep Brevard Beautiful’s annual Trash Bash. This county-wide litter cleanup event will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. until noon.  Everyone interested in volunteering for the Trash Bash can help no matter where in Brevard they live.  If you want to clean anywhere besides Melbourne, please contact Denise Song at 321-631-0501, extension 203.

To preregister, please call Jennifer Thompson at 321-608-5082 or send email to jthompson@melbourneflorida.org.  All volunteers are strongly encouraged to preregister so the supplies can be accurately estimated.  However, preregistration is not required, and volunteers still may show up the day of the event.  All volunteers in Melbourne will receive free breakfast, snacks, water, cleaning supplies, and the first 400 preregistered volunteers get free t-shirts.

Melbourne check-in points are to include Florida Avenue locations at the Melbourne Central Catholic football field and at Southwest Park; Palm Bay High School; the Lipscomb Park Community Center; Grant Street Community Center on Grant Street off of University Blvd;  Nieman Avenue at the Elks Lodge; McGrath Field on Stewart Road; Carver Park Community Center on Swan Street; Eastern Florida State College at Wickham Road and Post Road; the north pavilion of Futch Memorial Park at Paradise Beach; the southern-most parking lot of Rockwell Collins at Hibiscus Blvd. and Woody Burke Blvd.; Ascension Catholic School located at 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd; and the Apollo Surgery Center on Wickham Road just north of NASA Boulevard.
