The Leisure Services
department operates two tennis complexes. Among the tennis
opportunities available to the community are Tennis
Lessons and Leagues
and Tournaments.

High School & Tournament
Player Camp |
|
This is a college
style camp with live ball drills, strategy sessions and
match play. There will also be practice and conditioning
drills. The instructor for this camp will be Steve
Schleicher, Head Coach for the Melbourne High School Boy's
Tennis Team. Camp will be limited to the first ten
registrants! Cost is $40 per child for City residents and
$44 for Non-City residents.

Melbourne’s Junior Team Tennis is a fun
summer program for kids. This program has been in Melbourne
since 1976 and boasts that 75% of the high school players in
South Brevard have come through this program. The only
requirement to join is to know how to keep score and serve
from the baseline. Matches start on June 8 and are
played on Friday evenings. Cost is $65 per child for the
season or $1.00 per session not including Friday night

Tennis Lessons |
Tennis lessons are given at Jimmy Moore and
Fee Avenue parks. To register, call prior to class times or at the
Pro Shop 15 minutes before class. Make checks payable to the City
of Melbourne. Classes are $40 - residents and $44 - non-residents
for 6 hours of instruction.
