The Leisure Services
department operates two tennis complexes. Among the tennis
opportunities available to the community are Tennis
Lessons and Leagues
and Tournaments.

Tennis Tournament Camp |

Open for all players of all ages with previous
tennis experience. This camp is designed to prepare
for tournament and competitive matches. There will
be live ball drills, conditioning, tennis lectures,
and match play segments during this camp. Please

Junior Team Tennis |

Melbourne’s Junior
Team Tennis is a fun summer program for kids. This program
has been in Melbourne since 1976 and boasts that 75% of the
high school players in South Brevard have come through this
program. The only requirement to join is to know how to keep
score and serve from the baseline. Play starts on June 9 and
runs until August 6. Play is on Monday and Wednesdays from
12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Cost is $65.00 per child for the
season. All children must be registered in order to

Tennis Lessons |
Tennis lessons are given at Jimmy Moore and
Fee Avenue parks. To register, call prior to class times or at the
Pro Shop 15 minutes before class. Make checks payable to the City
of Melbourne. Classes are $40 - residents and $44 - non-residents
for 6 hours of instruction.
