WITH CORRESPONDING APPLICATIONS

I: TREE PROTECTION

1. Tree Removal/Relocation/Replacement

A.	Requirements for Sites of one (1) acre or more
1.	Two copies of certified tree survey showing existing protected tree sizes and types (minimum 4" diameter measured 3' above grade).*
2.	Two copies of entire site fshowing location and size of all buildings, parking areas, utilities, elevations (existing and proposed), green areas, drive areas, and description of adjacent property uses.*
3.	Description of tree protection measures.
*	*Tree Survey and Site Plan shall be incorporated on one page*

B.	Requirements for Sites of one (1) acre or less
1.	Two copies of a tree survey showing existing protected tree sizes and types (minimum 4" diameter measured 3' above grade). Trees may be hard drawn in if accurate.
2.	Two copies of entire site showing location and size of all buildings, parking areas, utilities, elevation (existing and proposed), green areas, drive areas, and description of adjacent property uses.
3.	Description of tree protection measures.

2. Tree Permit Fees

$ 15.00	Permit Fee
$ 10.00	Each tree removed
$ 100.00	Maximum/Residential
$ 1,000.00	Maximum/Commercial

No fee for trees relocated on site - Mitigation for tree removal will be on an individual basis

3. Tree Protection Requirements

All non-exempted trees on site shall remain unless it is determined by the Building Official that removal is required. Said trees shall have a visual barricade erected around the outside of the drip line prior to any work on site.

Trees listed under exceptions (Section 9.272 (b)) shall require no permit. These include: Punk, Paperback, Norfolk Island Pine, Australian Pine, Brazilian Pepper, Bishopwood, Castorbean, Poisonwood, Chinaberry, Eartree and Eucaluyptus (all varieties except Cinerea).

II. SOIL CONSERVATION REQUIREMENTS

1. Requirements Prior to Clearing or Building

A)	Erosion and Sedimentation Control permit shall be submitted to the Engineering Department prior to commencing work. For issuance of the permit the following information will be required with the application.

	1.	Narrative of the overall project, including:

		(a)	Time frame for project
		(b)	Description of erosion control and practices
		(c)	Description of adjacent property uses
		(d)	Description of re-vegetation plan

	2.	Maps, drawings, and computations by Licensed engineer containing the following:

		(a)	Site location
		(b)	Temporary and permanent vegetative control measure plan

	3.	Brief description of on-site plant species denoting the existence of any endangered/protected plants or animals.
