Customers Who Prefer To Pay By Credit Card

Notice as of April 2, 2007, credit /debit card transactions are provided as a service through Point and Pay, Inc.  We are able to accept American Express, Discover Card, MasterCard, and Visa.

Use of this service carries a 2.95% convenience fee with a minimum of $2.00 which is included in the total credit/debit card payment amount.  The City of Melbourne does not receive any money from this convenience fee.  Convenience fees are collected by the credit card processing company and credit card companies.

The 2004 Florida Building Code became effective on October 1, 2005. All permits applied for on or after this date are required to meet the requirements of the new code.

Note In accordance with the 2004 Florida Building Code, a Building Permit will be required for the installation of Vinyl Siding. The permit application shall include tests or calculations indicating compliance with Chapter 16, showing compliance with Wind Load Calculations for our area.
