Volunteers Needed for Beautification and Environmental Advisory Committee
The City of Melbourne is seeking volunteers to serve on the Beautification and Environmental Advisory Committee.
The committee considers proposals that have an effect on the appearance or environmental impact on the City. It makes appropriate recommendations to City Council; coordinates and emphasizes the need to implement beautification and environmental quality improvement projects in the City; recognizes the efforts of others who contribute to the beautification and environmental protection and enhancement of the City; and promotes the development of greenways, blueways, and non-motorized pedways, and trails in the City with special emphasis on linking such facilities to adjoining facilities.
Applicants must be registered voters and residents of the City of Melbourne.
The committee meets at 8:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday in January, March, May, July, September and November.
