City of Melbourne Seeking Volunteers to Serve on Babcock Street Advisory Committee

The City of Melbourne is seeking applicants to serve on the Babcock Street Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Committee

The committee serves as an advisory body to the City Council for the Babcock Street Redevelopment Area. Duties include preparation of recommended plans and modifications for redevelopment projects in the area. 

Applicants must be residents of the City of Melbourne or engaged in business in the Babcock Street Redevelopment Area. Engaged in business means owning a business, practicing a profession, performing a service for compensation, or serving as an officer or director of a corporation or other business entity so engaged. 

Applicants must also be registered to vote.  

The committee meets on the fourth Wednesday every other month (six times per year) at 8 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber.
