Event: Grand Theft of Boy Scouts’ Trailer

Date/Time of Event: August 9, 2018 
           
Location of Event: 2401 N. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, FL 32935

The Melbourne Police Department received a report from the Boy Scouts of America Troop #285 regarding their 10’ enclosed trailer. The trailer is a white 2000 Pace American brand trailer with “Boy Scouts of America Troop #285” lettering and the BSA logo visible on both sides. The trailer has a Florida registration/tag number of 334WZN. The theft is suspected of occurring sometime between the evening of Monday, August 6 and the afternoon of Wednesday, August 8.
  
On August 8, 2018 at around 1545 hours, an unknown white male was possibly seen with the trailer at the BP Gas station located at 1165 Sarno Road. This individual pictured below is a person of interest in the theft, and the Melbourne Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the male.
