In honor of American Water Works Association's National Drinking Water Week, May 6-12, 2018, the City of Melbourne is encouraging all citizens to gain a better understanding of the issues involved in providing safe, clean, and reliable drinking water and to practice water conservation.

Clean and safe drinking water is vital to our economy and the quality of life we enjoy.

Melbourne’s water utility professionals take measures to ensure that our water distribution system delivers a safe and reliable supply of clean drinking water to 150,000 people every day in the cities of Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Indialantic, Indian Harbour Beach, Satellite Beach, Palm Shores, Melbourne Village and a portion of Brevard County south of the Pineda Causeway. In addition, wholesale water service is provided to West Melbourne, with additional account holders and customers served.
