Brevard Public Schools Names Play Melbourne Its Nonprofit Partner in Education of the Year
Play Melbourne Parks, Recreation & Golf has been recognized as the Brevard Public Schools (BPS) 2017 Non-Profit Partner in Education. Play Melbourne was nominated for the award by both University Park Elementary and BPS’s Division of Government and Community Relations in recognition of its Play Date Program at Riverview Park and other collaborations throughout the year that have benefited Brevard County students. Director of Parks, Recreation & Golf Kevin Briski accepted the award during a ceremony held on May 4. "We are very thankful for our relationship with Brevard Public Schools,” Briski said. “Our collaborative efforts have resulted in more opportunities for students to get out and play and experience our communities newest destination park.
