Celebrate the Environment at Indian River Lagoon Day, Nov. 12
The 6th Annual Indian River Lagoon Day — an educational and fun-filled day focused on celebrating the Indian River Lagoon – will be held on Saturday, November 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Front Street Park, 2210 Front St., in Melbourne.
Free Family Fun
Indian River Lagoon Day features free admission and free kayaking, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, kids’ games, a bounce house and music. Drawings for door prizes will be held each hour.
Learn About the Lagoon & How You Can Help
Throughout the day, environmental exhibitors will be on hand to showcase the variety of volunteer opportunities they have available as well as their ongoing restoration activities, educational efforts and citizen-science projects.
“Hook Kids on Fishing” Clinic, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Rain Barrel Workshop, 11 a.m. - noon
